If your local and your lucky enough to have friends who live in the Landings, now is the time to call in that favor and steal their couch. For the rest of us, we are left with the Hostess City in Georgia or perhaps America to take care of us. Thankful Savannah is full of great options. These options are not exactly close but are not far either and traffic will be very light so it will not be hard to get to the starting line.

A. Stay downtown - These just off Bay street hotels are a block off Savannah's

Famous River Street. It is a quick drive to the Truman Parkway, one of the fastest ways to get

to the island.

Midtown Option, the hotel is about as close to the course as you can get. Any hotel in this area will give you access to Malls, short drive to downtown, lots of restaurants, and reasonably priced.

From these downtown location you will want to head toward Presidents Street turning onto the Harry Truman Parkway following it all the way to the Whitefield Ave. which turns into Diamond Causeway. You will turn onto McWhorter Dr. following it all the way to Skidaway Institute
